Becky was founder and president of Blades & Associates, which merged in 2003 with Trozzolo Communications Group. She also launched public relations departments at two prominent Kansas City advertising firms, and worked as a political consultant specializing in grassroots initiatives and statewide campaigns.

As a PR counselor, she has claimed dozens of industry honors, including the Silver Anvil and a Presidential Citation from the Public Relations Society of America. She was named PRSA’s Greater Kansas City Chapter Public Relations Professional of the Year in 1997.

Becky is a working artist and a champion of the arts in Kansas City. She is a founding member of the Business Committee for the Arts, and currently serves on the board of the Arts Council of Metropolitan Kansas City. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism and continues her learning at the Kansas City Art Institute.
