PRISMs 2011: Livin’ Large at LIVESTRONG

Trozzolo team celebrates wins.

LIVESTRONG Sporting Park was an appropriate location for the 2011 PRISM awards gala, from our point of view, considering that Trozzolo Communications Group continued to “live strong” by earning eight first-place awards and 17 total awards, including a Best in Show Finalist designation.

Trozzolo’s Best in Show finalist was a rebranding campaign for Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph. That was one of two PRISM awards Trozzolo earned in the Branding category; the other was for a Missouri Credit Union campaign.

"We always enjoy attending PRISMs. It's fun to have the team come together to celebrate a great year of work and connect with colleagues within the industry," said President Angelo Trozzolo.

Trozzolo’s other PRISM awards included:
•    Community Relations: Kauffman Foundation, “OMG” campaign for Google Fiber announcement
•    Direct Mail: Trozzolo Communications Group, “Gee Whiz Nice Building” campaign
•    Video: Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City, “ReformReality” video

•    Pro Bono Special Events: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Gala

The PRISM gala featured a French-flavored “Tour de Prism” theme influenced by LIVESTRONG founder Lance Armstrong’s participation in the Tour de France bicycle race. Trozzolo Senior Account Executive Morgan Johnson served as co-chair for this year’s event. 

“The PRISM awards provide Kansas City PR professionals – from agencies to nonprofit organizations – an opportunity to applaud each other’s work and accomplishments,” said Johnson. “I was thrilled to have the honor of bringing that event to life and thankful for Trozzolo’s support to help make it such a success.”
